About

Our Story

The Special Touch has been a family owned business for over 25 years. Started in the early 1980’s by Cheryl, Tony Gallegos, and their daughter Tammy. In 2006 Tony died suddenly from a ripped aorta and in 2007 Cheryl lost her battle with cancer.

Special Touch is now being run by their daughter Tammy, who is a graduate of CNM (TVI), and is an award winning chef.

Our Services

Special Touch Catering is a full service catering company with an award winning chef who will be happy to accommodate any and all special needs and requests. We understand the importance of working with our clients and provide high quality catering with exceptional service.

Tammy Montoya has continued her parent’s belief that customer service, top quality food, consistency, and good work ethic are the key to a successful business.

We pride ourselves in our exceptional customer service and attention to detail.  We will be more than happy to accommodate any and all special needs and requests. We want your event to be memorable for you and your guests.

We look forward to the Mothers Day Tea and the Christmas tea every year at Special Touch, there are usually 25 of us that attend in my family and after each tea we are looking forward to the next tea. The food is fresh and fabulous, the unique little sandwiches with the cream cheese flowers are always a treat, everything is homemade and fresh.
